That's the message from the president and CEO of KBP Brands, which operates KFC, Taco Bell, and Arby's restaurants across the US.
The Kansas City Star reports on the company's philanthropic efforts, which have seen it donate more than $12 million to charities since its inception more than a decade ago.
The company's philanthropic efforts are divided into four categories: community-based charity giving in its stores' regions, corporate giving initiatives, continued education scholarships for employees, and KBP Cares, an employee assistant program.
"We believe that when people come together to form strong, united communities, we can change lives," says KBP CEO Michael Kulp.
Last year, the company gave $3.1 million to local charities in Kansas City, where its corporate office is headquartered.
Among the charities it donated to: the University of Kansas Health System, theParade of Hearts, Brandon's Hope, Sleepyhead Beds, Adopt a Family, Arts KC, Children's Mercy, and Down Syndrome Innovations. Read the Entire Article
