Cordia School Senior Receives Tony Turner Memorial Scholarship

Johnson hopes to combine her love of storytelling and science to make a difference in people's lives.

Her English teacher believes that combination of heart and skill is exactly what the Tony Turner scholarship was designed to recognize.

The other two scholarship recipients are Kayley Roberts from Clay County High School and Skylar Rife from Phelps High School.

The 2025 golf tournament was held Friday at Stonecrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg.
