Two Routt County Charter Schools are sharing a state grant for over $1.2 million.
The schools receiving the grants are Steamboat Montessori Charter School for $538,000 and the North Routt Community Charter School in Clark for $676,000.
Community Schoolyards at elementary and secondary schools are designed to bolster local ecological systems, offer extensive hands-on learning opportunities, improve overall health and wellbeing.
