Fep Wins First Place in Two International Competitions

For the second year in a row, a team from the University of Porto in Portugal has won an international business case competition, the Wall Street Journal reports.

This year, students from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto won the Amsterdam Business Case Competition and the Aarhus University Case Competition, which challenge bachelor students from higher education institutions around the world to solve complex challenges proposed by companies.

"These victories reflect their own merit, but also FEP's commitment to providing an excellent education that prepares them for the challenges of the global business world," the dean of FEP's school of economics and management says in a press release.

The winning team, made up of students Constan ? 'a Esteves de Ara ? 'jo, Lara Forte, Nuno Cassiano, and Mariana Sim ? es, presented recommendations related to sustainability in the Hilton hotel group and on the innovation and marketing policies of Ab Inbev, a multinational leader in the beverage sector.

"In addition to the quality of the recommendations, they gave excellent oral presentations, standing out among their peers and winning international recognition," the dean adds. Read the Entire Article
