"I would be a good person because I have heart and I love Sun-Maid," 8-year-old Emma says. "I look at every day as a blank sheet of paper. Each morning is a new opportunity to create masterpieces that are full of fun, love, and basketball."

Emma is one of six kids selected as members of Sun-Maid's second-year Board of Imagination, the company says in a press release.

They'll help shape the raisin company's innovation strategy and will receive $5,000 each for themselves and $5,000 for their schools as part of the company's "Imaginative Minds" campaign, USA Today reports.

"These kids proved their potential, rallied their communities, and generated thousands of votes, we can't wait for the collaboration and imagination that the new class of Board of Imagination promises to deliver," says Harry Overly, president and CEO of Sun-Maid Growers of California.

Sun-Maid started the search for Board of Imagination members in January, asking kids between the ages of 6 and 14 to submit videos answering questions about inventing a new snack or using Sun-Maid's little red raisin box.

More than 10,000 votes were cast to choose the board members, who will meet in person at Sun-Maid headquarters Read the Entire Article
