The Las Cruces Public Schools Foundation is a nonprofit that raises money for teachers, classroom projects, and students in the New Mexico school district.
But now it's got a new logo and website. "This fresh makeover is part of a re-dedication to support and enrich the educational environment for students, promote innovation in the classroom, increase community involvement in education, and recognize excellence in teaching and learning," says Brigitte Zigelhofer of the foundation, per the Las Cruces Sun-News.
The foundation, which has been raising money since 1998, offers scholarships for seniors who plan to enroll in a higher education curriculum in the fall of 2022.
Funding ranges from $500 to $2,000.
"Through some of the most challenging times in public education, it has been a rewarding experience to honor our educators and support personnel who have kept our classrooms and school buildings going, ensuring our students persevere in a safe learning environment," says Zigelhofer.
