Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute Announces High School Top 20

It's that time of year again: time for high school students in Utah to present their business ideas to a panel of judges in the hopes of winning $30,000 in cash and scholarships.

This year's top 20 finalists in the High School Utah Entrepreneur Challenge range in age from 14 to 18, reports the Salt Lake Tribune.

The public is invited to vote for the winning idea online until March 24, and the winner will be announced at a March 25 awards ceremony at the University of Utah, reports the Deseret News.

Here are the teams: Click and Go (Bountiful High): A button for chairs that are connected to a lightbulb device in the guard room.

Each button has an ID, and when clicked, a display on the emergency light indicates the signaling chair needs help.

Bucks and Class (American Fork High): A hair product for men.

The pomade provides a combination of flex and stiffness in your hair.

Creative Book (Bear River High): The clay is a stronger hold and looks and smells better than the pomade and a greasier look.
