Brand New School Signs Director Daniel Uribe

Daniel Uribe's music video for Oh Wonder's "Without You" has racked up more than 80 million views on YouTubeand now the director has a new gig.

Uribe has signed up with thecoastal creative agency Brand New School, where he'll work on branded films, commercials, music videos, and social impact films, Adweek reports.

"They attract world's most daring and renowned brands, which pushes me creatively and strategically," Uribe says.

Born in Mexico City and raised in Savannah, Ga., Uribe graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in motion media design.

He went on to work at Digital Kitchen, Scholar, and Buck before discovering his true calling on set, Brand New School says.

He's directed music videos for Oh Wonder and Elsa Y Elmar, and his short film Influx was nominated for the Young Directors Award at the Savannah Film Festival and the Independent Shorts Award for Best Microfilm.

In 2021, he was nominated for a UKMVA Award for Best Pop Newcomer Video.

"We're thrilled to have Daniel on our roster, as he lends a cinematic eye to everything he directs," Devin Brook, managing partner of Brand New School, says in a statement.
