Institute for Creative Aging Offers Workshop on Art and Writing

If you're over the age of 65 and living in Cody, Wyo., there's a new program for you.

The Cody Center for the Performing Arts is offering an eight-week workshop called "Explore Your Creativity" that will focus on communication and creativity through writing and art, the Park County Library reports.

The classes will begin on Jan.

30 and run through March 21.

"The goal of the workshop is to provide participants with opportunities to explore and practice communication and creativity through writing and art," the center says in a press release.

"Each of the 12 sessions will include creativity exercises in art and experimental letter writing.

The workshop will culminate in a program featuring a selection of writings and art work."
