Dorothy Tillman already has a high school diploma, a bachelor's, a double master's, and now a PhD.
The 17-year-old from Chicago is the founder of the Dorothy Jeanius STEAM Leadership Institute, and she just earned her doctorate in integrated behavioral health from Arizona State University, reports WLS-TV.
"I felt like I had to be in either an arts program or a STEM program," Tillman says.
"And so integrating those and making it so they know, like, the right brain can't work without the left brain, I feel like is what makes it different."
Tillman started the institute three years ago, and it's a summer camp for teens in Chicago's South Side.
"They show us the process of writing and all types of different things and it's just really helpful," 14-year-old Tridia Davis says.
"Being sure of yourself to the point where nobody can shake that nobody can shake the way you think about yourself and your goals," Tillman says.
