Portlock Memorial Scholarship and Business Stipend, which is now accepting applications for its 2024 scholarships, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Applicants must be high school seniors or current college students with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a " zest for academic/creative excellence," per a press release.
The fund is looking for students in the developing stages of business with less than $50,000 in annual sales and in operation for less than three years in any of the following fields: cosmetology, culinary arts, event planning, fashion design, and hospitality management.
