Pressr: Nord Anglia Schools Spearheading Artificial Intelligence in Education

"No two children learn the same way, which is why our students achieve more than they ever thought possible."

That's the message from one of the world's leading international schools, which is using artificial intelligence in its curriculum in the United Arab Emirates, per a press release.

The UAE is home to four Nord Anglia Education schools: the British International School Abu Dhabi, the Swiss International School Dubai, the British International School Dubai, and the international school Nord Anglia International School in Dubai.

The schools are using AI in a variety of areas, including technology, computer science, and art and design.

"For over a year, we harnessed our expertise to explore AI in enhancing student learning," says Yasmir Abrar, deputy head of secondary at the Dubai school.

"We continue to merge traditional with technological approaches to maintain outstanding outcomes for all."

The press release notes that the schools are "trying to stay ahead of the game, experimenting with pedagogical applications and safeguarding students from the risks of AI."

One teacher at the Abu Dhabi school says the school was "very quick to respond to developments in AI" and immediately put together a session for all its teachers.
