"We are blessed in Enterprise City Schools to have many innovative and creative teachers," says the chair of the Enterprise Area Chamber of Commerce's Workforce and Education Partnership Committee in praising a teacher's grant application.
Ryanne Watson, a seventh-grade science teacher at Dauphin Junior High School in Enterprise, Ala., was recently surprised with a $2,350 grant that will be used to update the school's life sciences lab equipment, Al.com reports.
" interactive learning," Watson wrote in her application.
"Students remember hands-on learning activities for a long period of time and sometimes even a lifetime."
