Meet New Zealand's young entrepreneur Jamie Beaton who is changing college admissions game

Jamie Beaton is a 29-year-old Rhodes scholar from New Zealand who's made a name for himself in the world of college admissions.

He's also the founder of Crimson Education, a company that helps students get into some of the world's top colleges, reports the Times of India.

Beaton has helped 1,003 students get into Ivy League schools since he started the company in 2016.

He says his goal is to make it as easy for students as possible to get into top schools.

"It's not about getting into the best school, it's about getting into the top schools," he tells the New York Times.

"If you want to be a doctor or a lawyer, you have to be in the top 5% of your high school class."

Beaton says his company's focus is on helping students get into the top 20% of their high school classes.

He says the secret to getting into top schools is not having the right grades or SAT or ACT scores.

"If you don't have those things, you don't have a shot," he says.

"It's not about getting into the best school, it's about getting into the top 20% of your high school class."
