A proposed $117 million school bond in Cedar Rapids would devote $25 million to renovate Roosevelt Creative Corridor Business Academy.
$35 million would renovate Wilson Middle School into an elementary school that would house Cedar River Academy and Grant Elementary.
$12 million for renovations at Kennedy High School to address crowding in the cafeteria and common areas.
Using the bond to upgrade these schools means PPEL and SAVE money can be used to upgrade other schools.
