"The future is green, and it's ours to invest in."

That's the takeaway from Elysabeth Alfano, CEO of VegTech Invest, who is offering an online course on "Impact Investing with Plant-based Innovation," Consumerist reports.

The course, which is offered by GenConnectU, teaches investors how to "integrate ethical considerations into their investment choices, specifically focusing on the plant-based innovation sector," according to the course's website.

Alfano, a vegan, says in a press release that "the future is green, and it's ours to invest in."

Students will learn about the origins of plant-based investing, major industry players, and its transformative effects on traditional food industries, as well as discuss environmental challenges related to large-scale animal agriculture, greenwashing, and emerging food technologies like fermented foods and cultivated meat.

"Participants will gain a thorough understanding of how plant-based innovations can drive the future of food systems while maintaining profitability," the press release says. Read the Entire Article
