The Dallas Opera is trying to make opera more accessible to kids by expanding its education program to include opera-related activities.
The Dallas Morning News reports on the expansion of the Dallas Opera's Kids Boot Camp, which has been offered since 2008 and is designed for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade.

"It's an art form that's been around for centuries," says Kristian Roberts, the Dallas Opera's director of education.
"It's interactive, it's fun, and it's important."
Kids Boot Camp is open to kids of all ages.
