UGI Energy Services is supporting 70 private and parochial schools and scholarship organizations in Pennsylvania, including the Berks County Community Foundation with a $200,000 contribution.

The funding will provide tuition assistance for students who live in low-achieving school districts and give them the opportunity to attend local, private or parochial schools.

UGI Energy Services is also providing a $7,500 scholarship contribution to the Berks foundation.

The contributions were provided to the schools and organizations through Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development’s Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit program.
