The Marinette-Menominee Area Community Foundation recently awarded more than $40,000 in scholarships to students in the area.

The scholarships are given to students in the Marinette and Menominee counties who are in the top 5% of graduating seniors in their respective high schools, according to the foundation's website.

This year's recipients are seniors from the Marinette High School class of 2018 and the Menominee High School class of 2019, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Students in the top 5% of graduating seniors from any high school in the area are eligible for the scholarships.

Students in the top 5% of graduating seniors from any other high school in the area are not eligible for the scholarships.

The Marinette-Menominee Area Community Foundation was founded in 1992 and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents in the two counties. Read the Entire Article
