Imagine a world where every child in the world can learn to code.
That's the idea behind EdTech Africa, an annual conference and exhibition that runs May 29-31 in Kigali, Rwanda, focused on digital learning, training, and skills development, the Week reports.

promises to bring together an unprecedented gathering of experts, educators, policymakers, business leaders, and innovators from across Africa and beyond, focusing not only on education but also on crucial aspects of training and skills development," says Rebecca Stromeyer, CEO and founder of EdTech Africa.
"By fostering cross-sector collaborations, we aim to drive innovation in digital learning, empowering Africa's youth to lead in the transformative digital age," Stromeyer adds.
The conference will feature more than 72 sessions and workshops covering everything from online proctoring tools to augmented reality devices, content providers, and "established publishing services to explainer videos, and established publishing services to educational hardware," according to a press release.
It's not the first time EdTech Africa has made headlines: In 2015, a 14-year-old student in Democratic Republic of Congo learned to code with the help of a robot. Read the Entire Article
