"But wait.

That was the message from Lois Davis, CEO of the Whitefish Community Foundation, as it handed out $520,300 in grants to 68 nonprofit organizations in the Flathead Valley of Montana on May 2, the Missoulian reports.
"The growing generosity of our Circle of Giving donors has allowed us to increase our support of so many important projects and programs across the greater Flathead Valley," Davis said.
The foundation gave out 385,000 community grants and 14,500 special awards, with the final $120,000 going to the Northwest Montana Community Land Trust for the acquisition of four affordable homes for first-time homebuyers. Read the Entire Article
